I just met Dixie.....she just moved into our neighborhood.
She's wonderful.
But, she has a challenging life. 8 people live in her home, including two daughters, a disabled son-in-law, and three grandchildren, on of whom is handicapped.
Her husband died in 2011.
She is driving up north to help a daughter who just broke her neck in two places and has to wear a very restraining brace. This daughter of Dixie's tends her three young grandsons.
I hear stories like Dixies's and I am just so grateful for my situation right now. It could change any minute, but at this moment things are good.
And, for those blessings, I am so very grateful!
