Where We Live

 Ah, beautiful Saturday.

No specific plans.  Well, maybe a little.  I wanted to go to McDonald's since I found out their sodas are better than anywhere else.  So, we headed over there.

Then, Allen wanted to drive around up by the D and the old airport, where Dixie Technical College now is.

What surprising and stunning beauty awaited us there.  The day started very foggy in our neighborhood, so the clouds were low and beautiful as we looked over the hill and over the lovely city.

Looking to the south.  Look at the beauty of those low-hanging clouds.  So unusual and loverly.
Thanks to My Fair Lady for that word!

Looking to the north and Pine Valley mountains with much-needed and p\appreciated snow.
The colors of the red hills,  the blue sky, and the white clouds and snow combine for such a gorgeous creation by a LOVING Heavenly Father.

It was just so good to be out in the sunshine and enjoying the beauty of St George.
Later in the afternoon, we went for a walk in our lovely neighborhood.

I am very thankful.

A Tender Mercy

I can't really spell it out.

Because it was personal and embarrassing and messy.

So, I will say this; it could have been so much worse.

It involved being with other people, traveling, stomach issues, and not making it to the bathroom in the exact amount of time needed.

BUT, as I say, it could have been so much more embarrassing.  I look upon what did happen, altho it was awful - it was private and no one knew what happened.

Oh, aging is a bugger.

But, I'm grateful that it wasn't worse.

GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

Whoever thought of the name, GREAT for the next generation of grandchildren, totally go it right because they are SO VERY GREAT!

I adore my delightful little great grandchildren, although I only see them about twice a year.

When Olivia came to visit recently, she just wanted me to hold her and to have me hold her on her lap.
It was absolutely the sweetest thing ever!  She's so gentle and pleasant.

Evan is so SMART.  He's so very observant.  It's a joy to teach him and be with him.
He bumped his head on the couch in this picture, but he's so adorable.

I'm so thankful for these darling great grandchildren and their marvelous parents who are teaching them in the Gospel of Christ.

MUSIC!

 I love music!

I'm so thankful to have grown up in a home where music was a high priority.

It's so fun to listen or to sing along.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the gift of music.  I am certain there will be MUSIC in heaven!

And, I am grateful.
