Beauty in Our Area and Friends to Share it With

A day trip to Kolob.  WOW!  Such beauty.

And, I am thankful for the world God created!

And the amazing book by James E Talmage.  It is powerful, profound, and has so much good information in it.  I've read it before; listened to it before, but I'm really trying to focus on it now, since
we will be traveling to the Holy Land in three months!

SOUNDS, SIGHTS, SMELLS of SUMMER

New bike....

coasting down the hill.

To the left, a baseball game....

To the right, the playground filled with children playing....

Just past that, the soccer fields filled with kids.

And wafting over all, the delicious smells of summer blooms and blossoms.

Interspersed with children on bikes or scooters, and people walking the dog....

A perfect summer night to be coasting along on the cherry red bike.

And, I am grateful.

God's Creations

Right now....

ST George is just blooming and incredibly lovely.

It's actually very breathtaking and I'm so grateful.

This morning, I went out and took a picture of the lovely Hollyhocks in our back yard.

My mother used to grow these and loved them.  They are short lived, but oh, the beauty they bring when they are blossoming.

I am so very grateful for the amazing world that God created; there is always such a variety.

I love it.

Appreciative People

She has challenges in her life, so Allen and I sent her a small check....

Here was her email in response to the check in the mail;

Dear Allen & Loni,

I received your check today. I am very emotional right now. When I read the “we love you” on the check, I started to cry.  Thank you so very very much. Words can not convey how I feel right now. I am overwhelmed with everything but your thoughtfulness is soo appreciated and helpful. I love you both. God bless you.🙏🏽❤️

I'm so grateful for appreciative people.

We help others when we can, but they don't always respond or give thanks.

And, that's okay; I don't think I was so good at that for many years myself.

Maybe that's why I'm so grateful when people respond with appreciation to things we try to do to cheer their lives up a little.

I'm grateful for their appreciation.

And especially that of Peggy Tidwell Tyler.

The Plan of Salvation

Just now, I have been going thru pictures....

Of my parents.

And, it reminded me, once again....

How grateful I am for the Plan of Salvation.

I KNOW THAT I WILL SEE THEM AGAIN!

I KNOW THAT I WILL HOLD THEM CLOSE....

I KNOW THAT I WILL TELL THEM OF MY GREAT LOVE FOR THEM.

And, I am so incredibly grateful....

For the Saviour and the Atonement.
