Money!

I just read about an entire family that died; apparently the parents poisoned each child and then drank poison themselves.

They were plagued by continuing financial problems.

We are not rich...sometimes I'd like more.

But, we have what we need.

And, I am grateful....

The Sunshine

It happens almost EVERY day.

And, I LOVE it.

I'm so very grateful for the sunshine....bring it on.

Health!

It is a recurring theme.

But, today as I walked by the pills aisle in the grocery store, I was reminded of what a break blessing health is.

And, I'm so grateful for my situation at this moment in time.

Missionary Grandsons

They are working so hard;

Trying to be so obedient.

They are committed to the Gospel of Christ.

And, I am grateful.

The Atonement

Yesterday during the Sacrament portion of church, I really pondered and reflected and repented.

Sometimes, I'm so foolish and so dumb.

And, it makes me so grateful that I can repent.

Oh, yes, I am grateful.

Primary Class

Oh, it's a challenge.

And with six of them, they are a handful.

But, individually, they are priceless beyond words.

I can truly say that I love them ALL:

Sam.

Smart, cute, talkative, and DEEEEE-lightful.

What a blessing,

And, I am grateful.

A New Day....

Clean, fresh, pure.

A new start.

A day to try to:

do something for someone,

be kind,

be happy,

ENJOY LIFE.

Oh, yes, I am so grateful for a new day!

Grocery Store

I can't imagine cooking everything from scratch.

I had some unique ingredients to add to a new recipe, and it was so great to just go and get what I need.

Oh, I am so grateful.

Going to the Temple

When I'm in town, I try to do it every other week.

Usually I do initiatory, but this time I did a session with Vonnie Andrews.

It was good to hear the covenants we make.

And, I am grateful.

Water

I am so grateful that we have water in this desert.

So far, we have not run out....

It is a great blessing to have fresh water.

And, I am grateful.

Air Conditioning

Yesterday we went on a hike;

it was

HOT, HOT, HOT.

When we arrived at the car, I was so very thankful for AIR CONDITIONING.

Then we came home to an air conditioned home.

Oh, I am grateful for that wonderful invention of air conditioning.

Telephones

Jeremy called; fun to talk with him...

Jenni called this morning, fun to catch up with her.

Later this week, I will talk to Amy and Justin.

I'm just thankful for the wonderful invention of the PHONE..

Mornings...

with the promise of a new day....

whether Sunday or any day....

I love the feelings in the morning of...

an entire day to do....

But, St George has many sunny days.

Conference Talks and Technology

Today I exercised at Planet Fitness...

Nothing unusual about that.

But, I also listened to 3 conference talks...

All three were helpful and inspiring and what I needed to hear.

And, I am grateful.

Food

I'm so grateful for food.

I'm trying to eat less.

And, I often go to bed hungry.

BUT, I have access to a wide variety of foods.

And, I am so grateful.

Eyesight!

I'm so grateful that I can see.

It is such a blessing.

And, I am grateful.

It's Monday...

That means I get to try again to get things accomplished.

I love the start of a brand new week.

Oh, yes, I am grateful!

Downsizing

Janessa is moving in.

STUFF has to move out to make room for her.

And, I'm grateful that we are actually getting rid of some stuff.

It's hard, but it's okay.

Less is better.

And, I'm learning that out of sorrow, some good things can come.

I'm grateful to reflect and realize that.

Popcorn

I love popcorn as a snake.

And, I am grateful to have it on occasion.

Health

Man, I just learned that another friend has serious spine and back problems...

She said she is bent over double.

OUCH....

She's headed for surgery.

I'm so thankful for my health at this point in my life.

This Time of Year

We don't get the fall colors like some places in America and the world,

But what we get instead is:

PERFECT WEATHER.

And, I am grateful.

Scriptures

......which remind me I need to be thankful in all circumstances.

And, that is not always easy.

No indeed.

SO, today, I will be grateful that - though my heart is aching -

we are all in good health.

Just learned a very dear friend has breast cancer;

It was a stunning blow.

Oh, I feel so grateful for good health right now.

But, we still connect whenever we see one another.
