America

I hope I never take America for granted.

But, traveling abroad is always a good reminder of just how wonderful

AMERICA is.

And, I am grateful.

Our Beautiful Yard

Look what was waiting for us when we got home on Thursday night:

When we left exactly one month ago, this was just green, green, green.

No pink evident at all.

So, this was a very fun surprise.

And, I am grateful.

HOME Safe!

I wonder who first said,

There's no place like home.

Because it's so very true.

I'm grateful for the grand adventure we just had.

But, man, I love coming home to our lovely home with its incredible yard which Allen has worked so very hard to beautify...

Oh, I am grateful.

My Beautiful Wonderful Daughter, Kristi D Anderson

Man, what would we have done without our dear daughter, Kristi D?

She has been immeasurably helpful on our trip in Germany and then in Holland.

She is the most pleasant traveling companion....always cheerful and amenable to anything.  She's always flexible when plans change at any time.

It has been the most wonderful blessing to have her with us.

I am beyond grateful.

Even Floors

This might sound like a strange one, but we are staying in a home where all the floors are uneven, bumpy, etc.

It makes me grateful for the floors in my home that are mostly flat and even.

It's a little thing, but I'm grateful.

Modern Medicines

I'm sick;

but grateful to have modern medicines.

Flowers the World Over

If I look out the window where we are staying, I see white lilacs, tulips, little daisy-like flowers sprinkled through the grass, green trees and shrubbery.

It's truly a lovely sight.

And, I am grateful.
