Having the Ability to Exercise

I really don't like doing it.

I really don't like getting up and going.

But, today, as I grumbled, I realized that I CAN exercise.  Not everyone my age has the ability to get up and out the door, drive to a gym, and Move freely.

So, that motivated me to be happy about heading to the gym.

And, I am grateful.

Home from the GYM!

SPRING in St George!

From Scripture a Day Calendar; so appropriate and the rain has been falling here, making everything lovely!

These blossoms will be gone in a week.  But, for mow, they are stunningly beautiful.
I am so very grateful for the beauties of God's earth!

Thank you, Heavenly Father!

My Body WORKS!

Yoga - Thursday mornings.

Plie squats,
Total arm rotations,
Knee bends,
Long stretches overhead,
Raise up on toes,
Finger, toe movements,
Side stretches,

Great picture of me, right?  HA HA.

So, far, I can do it all; not well, but I can do it.

And, yesterday, as my body moved, I was so very grateful for that blessing.

The Beauty of Spring!

I LOVE spring flowers.

We don't have a lot in our yard, but they bring such color and beauty and appreciation after a long brown winter!

These crocus are from Margaret Emery from many years ago.
They just keep showing up and reminding me what a dear friend she was and how her legacy goes on.

It's just the teeniest of buds, but there it is, so tiny, so hopeful, and so beautiful with the promise of fruit not far behind!

Found on the South side of the house in the most unlikely of places....in the middle of a large pile of gravel.
They must be so resilient and reminds me that I need to be the same!  Strong in difficult situations.

Every year - just two, but aren't they just so beautiful and such a strong reminder of SpRING.

And, of the ATONEMENT!
Oh, I'm so grateful!

Bridger Going Back on His Mission

What a thrill to open my email and see a letter from Bridger....

back on his mission to West Valley in Salt Lake!

I hope so badly that he can stick it out and be strong.

THEN, after he wrote, we face-timed.

WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

The church announced new guidelines fro missionaries allowing them to talk face to face with their families ONCE A WEEK.

THAT is amazing.

He's doing fine, a little overwhelmed, but he does understand the language.  Good for him.

I'm fasting and praying for him.

But, so thankful he made the decision to return.
