Pencils, Paper

I so take those little items for granted, but I'm reading a book about living in a dump in Cambodia.  The woman wants to learn to read and finding pieces of scrap paper is a challenge.

I have a deskful of paper, pencils, pens, etc.

Such a simple thing, but

I am grateful.
