My Home

It has been the Parade of Homes here in SG for the past week....

Lots of incredible homes, lots of beauty, and lots of great-taking views.

But, I'm very happy with our lovely home.  Allen keeps the yard well-manicured, and I have been known to do a vacuum and window-washing job.  So, it's kept up and so very comfortable.

I'm grateful for a home.  It's a blessing.

A Good Friend Named Pauleen

It's rather strange...we hardly ever see each other.

But, she is a jewel.

And, I'm grateful for her....

an income

having a steady income has been a great blessing in my life.

I'm very thankful for Allen's hard work over many years, even when it was not easy.

LDS Church

Yesterday, we briefly went to an exhibit at the St George Visitor's center...

they had a couple of very short video clips showing what our church does around the world to help people.  It was so very inspiring.  And, it made me realize that we are not just a church of

WORDS,

but, even more importantly, of

A.C.T.I.O.N.

Kindnesses of People

When B & D said they would help with the twins' missions, I was overwhelmed; still am.

People are just SO good, and I am grateful.

Ability and Opportunities to Learn

Each Wednesday, I go to a class about Apple computers.

It's helpful sometimes and I've learned some things that I would not have otherwise known at all.

So, I'm very grateful for being able to learn.

Knowing How to Type

On our family history mission, there were so many older people who came in and just didn't know how to type; it was a handicap for them.

Now, on our mission at the LDS Employment Center, I see the same thing, only often with younger adults as well.

So, it makes me very grateful, indeed, that I learned to type.

It is a good skill to have in this day and age.
