A Great Pair of New Shoes

 I didn't think I needed them.  

I didn't think I would like them.

I LOVE THEM.

They are comfortable and then again, they are comfortable.

I'm finally back to the gym.

Plus, Allen and I walk often, so these are PERFECTION.

I'm grateful.

Modern Medicine

 

Allen and Loni eating in an ACTUAL restaurant.  We are celebrating the getting of our 2nd Moderna vaccine.  Such a relief.

One year ago, literally, the world seemed to shift.

Whisperings were being heard about a terrible illness in Wuhan, China.  Then, it spread.....throughout the entire world.  Life was totally put on hold.  

FOR ONE YEAR; no visits from family, no hugging of the grandkids, no church, no gathering with friends, no dining out, no gyms, no - well, no NOTHING.

It was unlike anything the world had seen.

And, THEN, a modern miracle.

A SHOT was found to be effective in helping people not get the horrid illness.

And, for those people who worked so hard to bring that out so rapidly, I give great thanks.
