It leaves me feeling exhausted and sometimes hopeless.
But, then I think of my neighborhood and the goodness of the people right around me.
I think of this little corner of the world where we live and I am so grateful for my own little peace where I am blessed to live.
Thank you Heavenly Father. I could not be more grateful.

MUSIC....
and the Spoken Word....
we try to watch it every Sunday before church.
Today was extra special, since it is Memorial Day.
So, the music was patriotic, which I just love.
Thanks to my dad who helped me appreciate music, America, and Patriotism.
I love listening to the music of America,
And, I am so grateful.

Allen and LIFE!
Who knew that Allen would be having such a serious surgery?
Who knew that his family has a history of heart problems?
Who knew that our five children would make such great sacrifices to come be with us at a critical time?
But, there is one thing I KNOW....
I am so grateful for our family, for our lives, for our health, for the blessings we have received over the past month!
I hope I can always remember the blessings of April and May 2019!

The Ward We Live In!
A knock on the door on Sunday afternoon....
A plate of home-made cookies....
And, this note.
From our Relief Society President and her 12 year old son.
Can you even imagine what a surprise this was?
There is so much goodness in the world....especially in our ward.
And, I am grateful.
