Can I Ever Say it Often Enough

H.E.A.L.T.H.

Our dear Amy's mother has

the dreaded C word.

She got more bad news this week.

It's worse than they thought.

So, their family is troubled.

Which puts me in a funk.

And, reminds me how great it is to have


GOOD HEALTH.

And, I am grateful.

Eyesight

Allen's eye surgery has reminded us both of the wonder of vision.

And, I am grateful.

Inspiring Talks in Church

Today's talk by the high councilman was so meaty and helpful to me, in particular.

He spoke about the Fall and its importance to the Plan of Salvation.

Other churches see it as a bad thing, but in our church, we recognize that is part of the Plan and was essential.  Also, that Eve was very wise to partake of the fruit as she realized its significance in eternity.

I enjoyed it and was grateful I had gone.

Peace

There is so much war and horror and ugliness in the world right now.

While I am in a tiny little town where I look out a window and see brilliant blue sky, green trees, hear the sounds of a Saturday morning in the campground, and

I am so very grateful.

Eyesight

Allen's eyeoperationa makes me realize even more how wonderful it is to SEE.

And, I am grateful.

A Good Night's Rest

Some nights are better than others.

So, I'm grateful when I can get a really good night's sleep.

Allen's Successful Eye Surgery

 He was nervous to have it, but Dr. Chris Gee assured him it would be fine.

So far, it seems to be.

And, I am grateful.

A Washing Machine

Once a month, we do the laundry from the Stake Baptisms.


There are a lot of them.

So, that means washing a lot of white baptism jump suits...both men and kids.

I'm just grateful for an automatic washer and dryer.....

Mornings when I Just Chill

Usually I get up to go exercise pretty early,

but lately, I've just been relaxing and taking it easy.

I'm grateful.

Modern Conveniences

Today, I made bread.

I used a bread maker which did all the hard work for me.

And, I am very grateful.

Health

People all around us are sick, in bad shape, mentally losing it.

I feel grateful to be in the situation I am in.
