Teeth

I have good teeth; at least they aren't falling out, unhealthy, etc.

I'm unhappy how they look, but they work.

And, I am grateful.

Primary Class

They are so adorable,

But I love them.

Wide Variety of People

We work with two other couples in one of our church callings:

They are so interesting, fun, unique, different than us.

And, I love that.

Hooray for the differences in people.

Water!

I've never really been much of a water drinker.

But, now, I'm trying to drink much more.

And, I'm grateful it's so readily available.

Mobility

It's hard for me to get up off the floor,

but, I'm grateful I can get up at all!

My Bread Mixer and Wheat Grinder

I have had it for 12 years.

I bought one after Linda Ricks gave me a loaf of her bread....

I had to be able to make bread like that!

It was light, airy, delicious, healthy,

and ever so tasty.

So, since that day 12 years ago,

I've been baking bread.

And, I'm so grateful for the tools to make it so tasty.

A New Day!

I get to have 24 more hours:

to exercise,

to eat,

to work on family history,

to run errands,

to

BE

A.L.I.V.E.

And, I am grateful.

Food

Every night I go to bed hungry.

Not because I don't have food, but because I'm trying very hard to not eat after 7 p.m.

So, I eat a small dinner, then nothing else after.

And, I get hungry.

But, IF I wanted,

I have plenty of food available to eat.

And, I am so very grateful.

A Good Husband

He's good to me.

Good for me.

And, I am grateful.

Eyesight

Two Little Girls

They stop by most nights on their way home from school.

And, now, they've started stopping by in the mornings.

Good Entertainment

We went to see

JOSEPH and the AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

at Tuacahn last night.

Okay. it was amazing; the music, the sets, the dancing, the FUN.

And, I am grateful.

Family

I have been blessed with a wonderful family.

Both close and extended relatives.

This is Rachel, who just moved to St George; she is my first cousin's daughter.  We had lunch together and she has a cooking blog.  Today, I am making one of her recipes....She's beautiful, talented, good, fun, and I'm blessed to be related!

When I read or hear about some people's families, I am just astounded at how blessed I was and am.

I am so very grateful.

A Free Day

Sometimes I'm so busy...

I'm glad when I have a day to just do ordinary things.

Allen's Pension

I say it often;

But, I am so grateful Allen has a pension.

Many companies are not offering pensions any more.

But, I feel certain that - through the church - ours will continue.

Today while driving to do some shopping, I looked at the sky!

Recently, I realized that Heavenly Father has been so good to me;

Food and Water

It's Fast Sunday...

I'm hungry and thirsty.

It always reminds me that I can, at any time, just head to the kitchen for food....

unlike many people in the world.

The Many Hours a Bishopric Puts Into Their Callings

I cannot even begin to imagine how much time the Bishop spends on his church calling.

But, I know that I am grateful.

Time!

Sometimes I'm so busy that it is beyond frustrating.

On-Line Banking

I've been reading in my journal a little bit and what I have learned is that I could never keep my banking accounts straight.

But, now, I'm vigilant, and am quite aware of our finances.  Because I can look online on a regular basis.

Weddings!

Weddings are usually such joyous events.

It's so fun for families to get together.

And, I am grateful for the two we just had; both were wonderful and great reminders of the value of family!
