Today a friend mentioned how people have helped her with her teenagers....

And, how grateful she was.

I'm grateful for the people who have come into my life.....

There have been many and they each were there at specific times when I needed them.

Oh, how I am grateful!

The Beautiful World!

Heavenly Father created such beauty.

And, I am grateful.

Church - Wherever We Are!

I love going to church all over the world; all over America...

It's just the same, yet different.

But, it's wonderful to meet with the Saints.

And, I am grateful.

Allen's Happiness Today

He caught a big one.

And, he was so excited.

Which made me very grateful indeed.

He sees the fish as a Gift from God.

I am grateful for his happiness!

All I can say was that he was very excited!

Health

Some of the people our age suffer with health issues.

We have a few.

But, they don't keep us from having a good time and from traveling.

And, I am very grateful!

Safety

Sometimes there are a few dangers around.

And, I'm always grateful we are safe.

Going to the Temple in Various Cities

Today, we went to the temple in Vernal, Utah.

I am thankful for the promises and to hear them again.  I so appreciate the early Saints and all they did to build the early temples; I can't imagine the sacrifices and challenges.  I thank them.

It's wonderful to think that we can go back over and over to re-comit ourselves.

And, I am grateful.

Spending Time with Allen

We went fishing today...

We caught three salmon....

It was fun....

Seeing Happy People

Allen always reminds me of how fun it is to see people having a good time.

I agree.

I love it when people can enjoy life and when things are going well for them.

Terrible things are happening in the world...

I'm reading a book about an horrific situation in Kosovo....

And, it all makes me so grateful for the blessing of living in America.

I am beyond grateful.

I don't know why....

But, we have been spending money lately;

On summer trips, fishing trips, gas, major purchases, etc.

And, I'm just grateful that are not in debt and that we have some money....

Quiet, Peaceful, Relaxing Mornings

Normally, I would be at church.

But, for a variety of reasons, we didn't go.

So, it's a slow, peaceful Sabbath morning.

And, I'm grateful for this time.

Pink Fingernails

Ha ha!  I don't often get my fingernails painted.

But, a couple of days ago, Janessa painted them hot pink.

And, I LOVE them!

I'm grateful for nails and the fancy pink color.

So Many Things

...our little camper to keep us dry and out of the rain.

A car...

Allen....

Books....

Technology....

Food....

LIFE.

I am thankful.

Janessa - The Good Sport

Here we are in the midst of smalltown, USA.

Just a few miles from Flaming Gorge, Utah/Wyoming.

Not much to do; fish, eat, and play Yahtzee.

But, Janessa is game for it all; no complaints; just willing to go along with whatever.

Okay, she's wonderful.

And, both Allen and I are grateful.

Home!

Soon we will leave for three weeks.

I will miss our lovely home and its comfortable surroundings.

I love being home...it is always comforting to me.

And, I am grateful.

AMERICA!

I love the 4th of July.

And the reminder of how great America is!
