Eyesight

Just returned from the eye doctor....my eyesight is getting worse,

BUT, I am glad it still works at all.

Oh, yes, I am grateful!

Not Being Addicted to...

drugs, tobacco, or alcohol.

Oh, I have my addictions.

But, I'm not addicted to those three which destroy lives, finances, and families.

And, I am thankful.

Mobility

I complain a lot about exercising.

But, I'm very grateful I can do it.

I can still walk, move my body...I am mobile.

And, I am grateful.

Memorial Day...

...to remember all the men and women who have served so valiantly.

I am very grateful for them all!

The Lovely Oregon Home

It has been a most pleasant stay.

The home is perfect and lovely.

And, I am grateful.

Speedy Internet...

...which I don't have here.  It is beyond frustrating at this home....the owner and wife obviously do not use the internet much; they would never put up with this snail's pace.....

So, it makes me appreciate what we have at home in St George.

Oh, yes, I am grateful for fast internet.

Ability to Travel

(Holy smokes, I missed a few days!  That is not like me, dang nab it!)

We are enjoying our stay in the Rogue River Valley of Oregon; it's lush, green, peaceful, lovely.

It's a veritable haven for growers of fruits.

I love the green, greener, greenest.

And, I am grateful.

Sleep, Glorious Sleep

Long day in the car, so it felt good to just sleep.

And, I am grateful.

Church All Over the World

We have been to church in many places.

And, no matter where we go, it's the same.

Same music, same feel in the chapel, same order of meetings, same, same, same.

And, what that means is I always feel comfortable.

I like that.

And, I am grateful.

Allen's Wilingness to Cook and Clean

He does ALL the dishes.

He cooks a lot of the meals.

And, I am very very grateful.

Potato Chips

I know, I know; that's not the kind of stuff to be thankful for.

But, I am.

Because I'm a potato chip lover.

So, to whomever invented them...

The Oregon Scenery

Yesterday we drove to one of Oregon's largest lakes; the drive was just spectacular!

And gorgeous!

And green.

Did I mention stunning?!??!

What a world Heavenly Father created.

And, I am grateful.

My Doctor Daughter

Man, she's such a good one...that Jenni.

I'm so incredibly grateful for her.

the Atonement

I need it in my life.

I need to understand how to more fully use it in my life.

I want to go to heaven.

So, I better make use of this powerful gift.

Farmers!

2% of people feed 100% of the world.

Incredible....

It's such hard work, long hours,little play, mother nature rarely cooperates.

BUT, what would I do without spinach for my smoothie, butter for my toast, grain for the bread?

I appreciate farmers,
