My Wonderful Mother

I was blessed to have an extraordinary woman as my mother.

I wish so badly she were here so that I could tell her of my great love and admiration for her.

She was such a good, kind, thoughtful woman.

And,

TALENTED!

My goodness, she was talented.

This is a statement from an article written by Tiffany Lewis for the Deseret News;

My grandmother learned to paint late in life, after all her children had grown and left home. She painted mostly from photographs of her beloved Yellowstone National Park. She painted until her hand could no longer hold a paintbrush steady. Then she turned to making intricate stockings and ornaments for all her grandchildren. Her handiwork is something all our family cherishes.

Oh, dear Heavenly Father; thank you for the gift of an amazing woman for my dear mother.

So wonderful to be with family.

And, I'm grateful.

A Wonderful Trip

....but I'm also grateful to be home.

We went on a cruise around the Panama Canal.

It was relaxing, warm, enjoyable and we met some wonderful people.

But, the truth is, I'm very much a homebody.

So, I'm grateful to be home.

GOOD HEALTH

I probably say this several times month, but it is such a great blessing.

And, I am continually grateful and want to take advantage of this great blessing.

Oh, yes, it is good to be healthy.

Jenni Moving Back to UTah

It is just the most incredible blessing ever!

I can't describe how wonderful it is to have her so very close by.

I loved her being close before, but this is so much better because she's even closer.  $ years ago, she lived in Hurricane, but now she lives about a mile away.

And, it is wonderful.  It just makes my heart so very happy because we see each other, can do things together, etc.

It is a joy that is hard for me to describe.

And, I am so very grateful.

Joseph Smith

I haven't really thought it about much.

But, today, I listened to a conference talk from 2016 talking about what we owe to the Prophet Joseph.

As I listened to that talk, I was very grateful for what all he did.

I hated being teased or made fun of as a youth.  Not only did Joseph get made fun of as an adolescent, but it continued into his adulthood.

And, yet, he carried on.  He did what the Lord asked of him.  And, he suffered greatly all his short life.

It made me realize how grateful I am for Joseph Smith.

Yes, I am grateful and send honor to him.

SO THANKFUL JENNI IS HOME!

And, that's all that needs to be said about that.

Except that I'm so very grateful to have her near.

What a blessing to have family close by!
