A Good Husband

I'm so grateful we are on the same page in terms of the Gospel...

We might not be on the same page in terms of living in Manila, but

in many respects we are on the same page.

And, I am grateful.....

A Second Chance

I was not a good mother.

I didn't give advice to my children.

But, boy, I sure do that with my grandchildren.

And, I'm grateful for this 2nd chance!

Safe Travels

I just returned from Manila, Utah.

It's a long drive.

I'm glad I made it safely and

I'm grateful.

Cellphones

Honestly, I can't imagine how we survived with cell phones.

There are so many practical uses for them.....

And, I am grateful.

Being Married

It's lonely when one is alone.

And, I'm grateful to be married.

Good Books

I love to read

And to learn.

This is a true story of women in Afghanistan at the time the Taliban came in and put so many restrictions on women.
The tragedy is that things are probably much worse now than at the time this story takes place.  But his book demonstrates the resiliency of women in trying circumstance.

And, I'm grateful to have access to so many good books.
