Pictures and Memorabilia

My home is cluttered with memorabilia.

I have an entire closet with boxes, scrapbooks, "stuff'" from my parents lives.

I have an entire book shelve filled with photo albums; they spill over onto other shelves also.

But, oh, how fun to look back and reflect.

How marvelous to see pictures of our previous days.

I am grateful.

it's a challenge,

it's hard to see and hear what we do.

But, we have met some of the most marvelous people...

Abundance

no long lines....

no rationing of food or gas.....

no shortage of items.....

at least for now...

and I am grateful.

Grocery Stores

Peas from the garden - Yum Yum.  But, we have just a very few.

Tomatoes from the garden, but they won't last long.

Beans coming on, but they will be gone soon.

Ah, the modern SUPERmarket is a marvel.

And, I am grateful!

Holidays...

especially those that remind us how grateful we should be to live in AMERICA!

the Book of Mormon

I love it.

I'm reading it this summer because the Bishop of our ward challenged the youth to read it during their summer break.

I can do that, I told myself.

So, I'm using this copy

It has helpful footnotes, definitions, lots of pictures; it makes it uncomplicated.

I wish I had kept track of all the times I have read the Book of Mormon.  One thing is certain, I never tire of it.

I'm grateful for this powerful book.

My New Favorite Book - Apart From the Scriptures

"Jesus the Christ," by James E Talmage.

Incredible, inspiring, enlightening, and did I say inspiring.

It is filled with such rich insight into the life of Christ.

Jeremy has encouraged me for years to read it, and I am grateful.
