FAMILY

She was a widow and wanted to find some information about her family.

So, we built her a tree in family search.

Once we connected her parents and grandparents, the tree just expanded out many generations.

She was so excited and pleased.  She had fun seeing where everyone was from.

But, you see, she has no one to share all that information with.

She has no children.

A brother-in-law living in Colorado, but no one else.

I thought of our large, noisy, rambunctious gang, and I WAS SO GRATEFUL!

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for FAMILIES...

Especially MINE!

The MISSIONARIES at the Family History Center

It's such a blessing to serve with so many good people.

Man, they are so helpful...all the time.

I am overwhelmed with the goodness and thoughtfulness of people.

And, I am so very grateful.

ST. GEORGE!

I love St. George.

Today, driving home from exercising, the sky was so blue and filled with the most beauteous clouds.  All different kinds spread across the bright blue sky.

My heart soared in happiness.

And, i realized - as I often do - how much I

LOVE

living here.

And, I am so grateful.

Have I Ever Mentioned...

MY HEALTH?!?!??!

Allen's health?

I cannot express to my Heavenly Father how grateful I am right now for our health.

We can see, hear, walk, move, taste, touch;

It is something that I am beyond grateful for.

Oh, I do give thanks.

Home and Things

Mother Nature has unleashed her anger and power in the last two weeks:

Fires in the North West;
Hurricanes and Flooding in the South;
Earthquakes in Mexico;

Just horrific destruction all over ....

I almost feel guilty, but here we are safe and snug in our little home in St George, Utah.

And, I am so very grateful.

AMERICA!

We just returned from our month-long home exchange.

It was all great, in spite of some challenges.

HOWEVER, it just reminded me over and over -
how much

I LOVE AMERICA!

It's so good to hear my language spoken again!

It's so good to be able to read signs, road signs, labels on foods, signs on the freeway, etc.

It just feels good to be back in the good old USofA

And, I am beyond grateful!

Thank you, dear Heavenly Father.

Ability to Hear and Talk

At the mission, I helped a lady who is deaf and can't speak.

It was so hard for me.

I don't want to see anyone suffering.  She had also had a fall, so that her leg and arm were wrapped in something.

She wrote that she is still in pain.

Oh, I am so grateful for my life.
