This book is powerful, profound, and inspiring.

Oh yes, I am grateful.

Dentists!

"Wow, there's a rock in my pizza," I told Allen while we ate in a little restaurant in Gila Bend AZ.  "How did that get there?"

"It's probably a tooth," he said.

Well, it turns out, he was right.

It was a tooth alright.  And, it needed fixing.

So, I made an appointment and went to the dentist to get it fixed.

And, I am grateful.

Safe Travels

It's fun to go!

And, it's wonderful to return.

I love walking in our lovely home, so tonight,

I'm thankful for our safety.

Sons

It's a great blessing to have sons.

To see them grown, being productive, good fathers, good men.

And, I don't take that lightly.

I am very grateful.

Rain in Southern California

It's raining here in San Diego;

It is desperately needed.

Last week when we went to get something to eat at a fast food chain, there was a sign saying because of the drought in California, they were no longer adding tomatoes to every order.

Now, I'm okay with not having a tomato on a taco, but I am concerned with the farmers/ranchers who are all trying to make a living in a terrible drought.

So, rain is a very good thing here where we are visiting.

And, I am grateful!

Being Humbled

Yesterday I was feeling so very grateful...which I am.

But, we got humbled last night over a family situation.

It reminds me how badly I need the help of the Lord,

In every aspect of my life.

I need to rely heavily on him.

And, I'm grateful I realize and know that.

I'm grateful I can turn to him in Prayer and Pleading.

And, knowing that HE will send His peace and comfort.

I am grateful.

An Abundance of Blessings

I'm feeling very grateful today for many blessings.

I'm not sure why I have so many blessings, while others are suffering.

But, I feel very grateful.
