My In Law Family

Boy, there are a lot of weird, screwed-up people in the world; thankfully my inlaws were normal, good, marvelous people.  Allen's brother and sisters are wonderful, kind, and good.

And, I am grateful.

Seeing Allen Enjoy Himself

Allen has had such a great time fishing this summer;

He loves catching the Kokanee.

He's like a child at Christmas.

And, I am grateful.

Relief Society Wherever I May Be!

Last night:

Relief Society dinner and lesson.

It was so wonderful to get acquainted with some of the marvelous sisters.

What a soul-satisfying program.

And, I am grateful.

Allen's Job Over Many Years

I am so grateful to have an income.

It's modest,

But adequate for what we NEED.

And, I am grateful.

Safe Arrivals For All My Family

Lots of family events;

Lots of travel.

So, I am grateful when everyone arrives home safely!

Which we are making for Kristi's wedding.

People Who Help

Brenda is doing so much for this wedding.

It inspires me.

And, I am grateful.

Having Things To Do

Many times I am frustrated by having many things to do;

Run errands:

dollar store,
cleaners,
grocery store,
gas station,
hair cut,
bank,
church work,
etc., etc., etc.

But, on the other hand,

It is good to have things to do.

And, I am very grateful that life is still busy for me.

Not Being Born a Slave

Reading opens my eyes to the horrors in the world...

Past and Present.

 I am so grateful to have been born FREE...

Family Gatherings

I love it when our family gets together;

we have such a great time.

And, I am grateful.

Money

Today, I got my hair highlighted.

I got acrylic nails.

I bought a few things.

And, I'm so grateful to have money to do these things.

FREEDOM!

I have read (or listened to) three books

about people enslaved.

It makes me so incredibly grateful that I was blessed to be born in America.

Oh, I am beyond grateful for that marvelous blessing!

Being Debt Free

What a great blessing to not have any debt at this point in our lives;

And, I am very grateful!

Optimistic Attitude on Sunday

Ha Ha....

Every Sunday, I am optimistic about my Primary class.

I envision the little darlings behaving.

I envision them loving and enjoying the lesson.

Oh, yes, I envision them as little darlings.

But, it NEVER happens the way I envision.

So, I'm grateful I start off each Sunday with positive thinking.

Because by Sunday afternoon, I've sunk to new lows!

Ha Ha.

LIFE as It Is Today!

I am grateful for how it has been...it's been very wonderful.

Clean Air

Today I smelled a smell I have not smelled in over four years.

It's a smell that we smelled very often during our year in China...

SEWER smell and it was awful.  Every time we walked down the street, that STENCH permeated the air; it was ubiquitous in all of the areas we visited and lived.

So, catching a whiff of it today as I walked across a parking lot as I looked around and up into the clear blue sky, I realized I had never given thanks for:

CLEAN AIR!

And, I am so very grateful!

And, she is a good friend.

SO Many Things

Today as I sat in the temple,

I was overwhelmed with

GRATITUDE

for my life right now.

I am beyond grateful!

MY LIFE!

I said I wasn't going to do it,

But, I am....

That is, reading a book about life in a 3rd world country during a war.

BUT, the thing is,

It totally reminds me how blessed I AM!

And, I am grateful!
